Black Health Study: Project DIVA: Diversity Among Blacks - Intra-Group Variations in Health Risks and Behaviors

Purpose of Research: The purpose of this study is to understand whether and how African American and Black young adult immigrant experiences in society relate to their health behaviors. The project will help to identify and clarify the impact of stress, racial discrimination, and human capital development opportunities among Black subgroups and the association with various health behaviors that have both immediate and long-term impact. Participants are ages 18 and older, self-identify as Black, African American, Afro-Caribbean, and Sub-Saharan African.
